Ask us to remove a recipe

If a recipe here was extracted from a video you made and you want it gone, say so and it will be taken down. You do not need to explain yourself, prove anything, or use a particular form of words.

What happens then

The recipe is deleted from the shared database — the row, not a hidden flag. It stops appearing in the feed, in search and on this website. Copies that other people already saved live on their own devices and are beyond our reach, which is a limit we would rather state than pretend away.

Something else wrong with it?

Signed-in users have a report button on every recipe in the app, which files directly. Use that for anything that is not a takedown — wrong ingredients, spam, or content that is not food.

Why recipes are here at all

Ingredient lists are facts and are not protected by copyright. Preparation steps in MealFlow are written afresh from what is visible in a video, never copied from a caption or from on-screen text. Every recipe names the creator of the original video where we know it, and links back to it. We never download, host or re-publish anyone's video.

None of that is a reason to keep something up if you would rather it came down.
